Deborah has over 25 years experience practicing law in North Carolina, and brings a wealth of practical and legal expertise to the table.
She began her career with the prestigious firm of Kennedy Covington (now K&L Gates) in Charlotte, North Carolina. Later, she served as Corporate Counsel with BarclaysAmerican Corporation, and Counsel with Bank of America.
She has also served as legal counsel and business manager for a Medical Emergency Clinic, working as part of the management team with her husband, who is a physician. She was also legal counsel for a Medical Weight Loss Clinic. More recently, her practice has focused on Wills, Trusts, Probate and Estate Planning.
Deborah received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her law degree, with honors, from the University of Tennessee.
Deborah handles Wills, Estate Planning and Probate matters for our clients who reside in North Carolina or have property interests there. When she works with our Georgia clients, she assists them in a Paralegal capacity, since she is not admitted to the Bar in Georgia.
