Bob is an experienced high tech professional, and general computer wizard. He had a lengthy career in the high tech industry, and holds a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Bob started his career with National Semiconductor, then worked at Intel (as Product Engineering Supervisor), and several other firms in Silicon Valley, including Ametek (as Senior Principal Engineer), and Rohm and Haas (as Wafer Fab Manager & Engineering and Quality Manager). He concluded his corporate career as Quality Director with Honeywell.
He is the author of several books, including The Handbook of Quality Integrated Circuit Manufacturing, and has been a core industry contributor in the semiconductor engineering community. In recognition of his expertise, he was a keynote speaker for the Contamination-Free Manufacturing session at SEMICON West 1996, in San Francisco, California.
Bob holds about a dozen wide-ranging patents, covering products and processes ranging from techniques for purifying chemicals for semiconductors, to equipment for delivering chemicals and gases in an high-purity environment, to a highly specialized type of guitar bridge.
He was born in Montgomery, Alabama, but has lived in a number of different parts of the country, including Arizona and California.
Bob received his undergraduate degree from the University of Idaho, in Moscow, Idaho, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. He also holds a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, from Villanova University, in Villanova, Pensylvania.
The firm is very fortunate to have this technology leader developing a custom docket management application for our practice, using cutting edge technology. He enjoys working with the firm's attorneys and staff, to structure and support the firm's software and management systems, as well as providing information technology support, and overall computer systems strategy.
