The founding member of our firm, Diane is a native of Atlanta. She received her undergraduate degree from Oglethorpe University, and her law degree from the Emory University School of Law. She has over 25 years experience practicing law in Atlanta.
Diane began her legal career with Hansell & Post (now Jones, Day), and later served as Senior Counsel for NationsBank (now Bank of America).
After leaving the Bank, she and her husband ran their own start-up software company, giving her added insight into the practical business and legal issues faced by the firm's small business clients. |

She is active in community and professional organizations, having served as President of the Oglethorpe University National Alumni Association, and as a Trustee of the University. She is currently serving as President of the Estate Planning Council of North Georgia.

Diane is a frequent speaker at estate and financial planning seminars, as well as seminars on business law topics. Her practice is focused in the areas of Business Law, Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning and Probate matters. |

Holly Geerdes has established herself as one of the premier appellate attorneys in Georgia. In four consecutive years, from 2001 to 2005, she received the prestigious “Case of the Year” award in Georgia for her winning representations before the Georgia Supreme Court.
In addition, she was named “Outstanding Young Lawyer” in 2004 by the State Bar of Georgia in recognition of her accomplishments. In 2006, she was named one of Georgia's top 14 attorneys under age 40 by the Fulton County Daily Report.
Ms. Geerdes has also been appointed by the Georgia Supreme Court to serve as a mentor for law students transitioning into the practice of law, and invited by the State Bar to serve on an advisory panel for new lawyers transitioning into private practice. |

She graduated with honors from the Universiy of Iowa with degrees in business administration and political science, and received her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School.

Her practice includes civil and criminal litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. She also handles personal injury and divorce cases.
